A Brief History of COM 

In 1968, COM Aquatics, Inc. was organized as a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation with all operating expenses generated through the facilities own activities.  Well received and generously supported by the community, COM has evolved from holding swimming practice at the local high schools into a comprehensive aquatic center, which offers recreational and therapeutic fitness programs for all performance levels and age groups.  COM is proud to have been awarded national recognition as an exemplary model of a self-managed community aquatics organization offering a fully integrated fitness program for the citizens of the Permian Basin.  Our staff and administration remain consistently dedicated to better health, family fun, and competitive excellence.
